Obama, mein Lieber, man sagt hier, dass du die Welt verändern willst. Tu mir einen Gefallen: komm und verändere mein persönliches Leben.

Komm nach Israel, packe seine dumme Führerschaft an der Gurgel und nimm seinen Fuß vom Nacken eines anderen Volkes. Komm und zwinge uns, das zu tun, was klar ist und geschrieben und angebracht und notwendig – kommt und hol uns aus den besetzten Gebieten heraus, wenn nötig, tu es mit einem Lächeln, das die Millionen Dollar Zähne zeigt. Wenn nötig fletsche deine Zähne und zwinge uns, dies zu tun.

Mach es so, dass ich morgens nicht so früh aufstehen muss - was ich wirklich hasse – um zu den Kontrollpunkten zu gehen, um dort zu beobachten und zu weinen. Mach es so, dass ich keine 19jährigen Kinder sehen muss, die man glauben gemacht hat, sie verteidigen ihre Heimat, wenn Sie ihre Waffen auf fünfjährige Kinder richten.

Mach es so, dass – während meine Töchter eine halbe Stunde duschen – ich nicht an die Ayad-Familie in Awarta denken muss, die unter jedes Becken Eimer stellt, um das Wasser noch einmal zu benützen, weil es kostbarer als Gold ist. Weil die Siedlungen das Wasser angeblich nötiger brauchen als die Palästinenser.

Mach es so, dass ich – wenn ich in einem Verkehrsstau stecke – nicht an die riesige Zahl der Autos denke, die vor Tul Karem warten, weil jedes einzelne von Soldaten und Hunden kontrolliert wird, weil es eine Warnung gab, dass Tul Karem in die Luft gejagt werden soll.

Mach es so, dass ich – wenn meine Schwester schnell mit Rotlicht zur Geburt ihres Kindes ins Krankenhaus gefahren wird – ich nicht an die in Wehen befindlichen Frauen oder die Herzkranken und Verletzten denken muss, die vor Nablus angehalten werden, weil ihr Fahrzeug keinen Passierschein haben.

Mach es so, dass ich – wenn ich auf der Straße einen Soldaten in Uniform sehe – mich nicht fragen muss, was er die letzte Nacht getan hat: welches Haus er mit spezieller Prozedur * betreten, welchen Jungen er in den Gassen von Hawara geschlagen hat, weil er in falscher Weise lächelte.

Mach es so, dass ich – wenn ich morgens den Nachrichtensprecher höre – nicht seine Befriedigung heraushöre, wenn er von den sechs durch die IDF getöteten Terroristen berichtet.

Obama, mein Lieber, in diesem Herbst ging ich nicht zur Olivenernte. Ich arbeitete nicht draußen. Ich möchte nicht unter schlechtem Gewissen leiden, weil ich nicht genug tue, dass ich mein eigenes Leben lebe, meine Karriere im Blick habe, während für das andere Volk alleine das sichere Nach-Hause-kommen schon wie eine Karriere ist.

Bitte, befreie mich von diesem Schmerz, den ich ständig tief in mir spüre. Er lässt mich nicht los. Ich kann mich nicht mehr über mein Leben, meine Kinder und Freunde freuen, weil ich in Gedanken bei dem Hirten in Baqa bin, der dort vor dem verschlossenen Tor steht und vor Kälte zittert, weil der Rothaarige (Soldat) mit dem Schlüssel nicht kommt, oder bei dem gefesselten Jungen mit den verbundenen Augen oder an das dreijährige Mädchen, das vom engen Drehkreuz am Kontrollpunkt einen Schlag auf den Kopf erhielt oder an die Erdwälle und Betonklötze, die als Straßensperren das Leben so vieler Leute unmöglich machen.

Komm, Obama, komme und rette uns vor uns selbst.

Und wenn es stimmt, was man sagt, dass Du kein Freund Israels bist, dann sei kein Freund. Wir hatten schon Freunde, die uns mit Waffen versorgten und jeden Horror, den wir ausführten, rechtfertigten – und rette uns vor den Internationalen Gerichtshöfen. Sei ein wirklicher Freund. Rette uns vor uns selbst. Tu es nicht für die Welt, tu es für mich, damit ich Frieden habe. Du bist es mir schuldig. Ich glaube zwar nicht an Gott – aber ich bete für dich.

Warum soll Obama euch retten? Seid ihr selbst nicht dazu fähig? Den SEINEN hat's doch der "Herrr" gegeben!

Hallo Zita,
ich glaube Frau Canetti weiß genau, dass sie sich an ihren "Herrn" nicht zu wenden braucht! Denn ihr "Herr", der aus dem Alten Testament, ist ein grausamer Gott - ein furchtbarer "Herr".
Da sind ihre Chancen bei dem Herrn Obama schon viel größer, glaube ich. Allerdings muß der auch helfen wollen. Können könnte der schon.Auch die Satrapen des zukünftigen mächtigsten Mannes der Erde, des Herrn Obama, wir also, könnten auch sehr viel tun, wenn wir bloß den Mut dazu hätten. Wenn Mr. Obama Mut hätte, würde es uns vieleicht auch viel leichter fallen endlich mit der moralischen und materiellen Unterstützung des Terrorstaates Israel aufzuhören.
Wenn das alle anderen dann auch täten, wäre ganz schnell Schluß mit dem unsäglichen Leid der Palästinenser!
Ich glaube Frau Canetti hat recht - ohne Hilfe von außen wird es nicht gehen.
Aber ob Mr. Obama helfen wird ist für mich sehr fraglich, nach seinem Auftritt in Israel und seinen unterwürfigen Äußerungen gegenüber der Israel - Lobby in den U.S.A.!
Für Frau Canetti und ihre Gleichgesinnten in Israel und für die Palästinenser bleibt wahrscheinlich leider nur das Prinzip Hoffnung!
